about

„TPIY“, der Labelzweitling von The Poem is You.

English:
This self-titled sophomore album of the young Berlin based group The Poem is You is a fully realized affair. It is brilliant and adventurous, lyrically as well as musically, ranging from rapturous emergence to dusty homecoming. There are skeletal electronics, brilliant folk songs and - first and foremost this time - ecstatic indie hits. Elements include male and female lead vocals, a peculiar horn section of bassoon and alto saxophone, electronic cheeps and buzzes and wildly soulful backing choirs. Truly the “young and brave music” of our time.
